ZZ Web Hosting

ZZ web hosting does not look very impressive webhost. I would think very carefully before considering them as my webhost. It has very few services, and support seems dodgy. I’d advise all who are looking for a host to look elsewhere, there are hundereds of hosts available in the marketplace with much better features and level of support. Sure the prices are ok, but we believe that prices should not be the only criteria when choosing a host.

Hosting

ZZ offers two shared web hosting plans. The Budget is $3.90 a month while the Multi Plan is $6.50 a month. Both plans come with great features including unlimited domains, shopping cart, chat and a forum. The Budget Plan includes 5000 megabytes of storage space, 65 gigabytes of data transfer, Cpanel Control Panel, and one domain. The Multi Plan offers 10000 megabytes of space, 150 gigabytes of data transfer, a web host manager control panel, Cpanel Control Panel, Static IP address, and 10 domains. These are great prices for a personal site but there is nothing for a business.

Support

ZZ offers online support to their members. Members must have a password and user name to enter the support page. This is the first web host I’ve seen who does not want to show off their support. I find this suspicious to say the least. They also have live chat available, but when you attempt to use it you are ask to leave an email message. There are no guarantees, no tutorials and no online databases. There isn’t even a question and answer section. There is no physical address of the host anywhere on the site and no contact phone or fax number is available.

Services

There are no services to speak of with this company and it will cost them customers. Sure their hosting is cheap but not so cheap as to make their customers forget that for a dollar more with another host they could have a load of services and good support. They don’t offer as much as domain registration.

Conclusion

We rate this host as an average host without much to offer. There is not much information available on the site as to who owns the business and what sort of infrastructure they have. They have dodgy support, no services, and good, though not great hosting plans. There prices are good, but for the same amount or a dollar more, better service is available. Although their site doesn’t say, (It doesn’t say much of anything), I suspect they may be a reseller site. Again look elsewhere when shopping for a web host. Don’t waste precious time and energy going to http://www.zzhosting.com/. It just isn’t worth it.
